Call for Papers: Recent Work on Hume in X

The editors of Hume Studies call for papers or expressions of interest in writing papers (in English) on the topic, “Recent Work on Hume in X,” where X is a language other than English, and the recent work may be further delimited, as in “Recent Work on Hume’s Economic Theory in X” or “Recent Work on Hume’s Intellectual Biography in X” or “Recent work in X on Hume on the problem of causality.”

This call will remain open indefinitely, but submissions will be peer reviewed and published as usual making further work on the same topic sub-optimal. Those interested in making a submission are asked to contact the editors in advance to specify the topic and anticipated date of completion. In the case of competing proposals, the editors will inquire whether the authors can work together or divide the field to their best advantage. Proposals from multiple authors seeking to divide the field between themselves are also welcome.
